Thanks to the generosity of Kim Foundation, CenterPointe will provide intensive onsite training for Campus for Hope staff to help them improve their practice of evidence-based mental health care.
Through this training Campus for Hope will implement Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). DBT is a comprehensive multi-modal treatment, consisting of individual therapy, skill group, skill coaching, and therapist consultation.
It can be used in conjunction with other treatment practices and has been shown to be effective for people struggling with suicidal thoughts, people suffering with eating disorders, and those living with addiction issues among others.
We are grateful to Kim Foundation for their investment in our staff and in the people seeking recovery in the Omaha community. Planning for the training and implementation are underway.
